A Celebration of Dedication and Classical Dance: Swetha Ragupathi Earns Dual Credentials

Years of commitment to the performing arts can nurture skills that reach far beyond the stage. The Council of Educators, Inc., is pleased to celebrate Swetha Ragupathi as a National Credential Scholarship Recipient through its partnership with Shishya School of Performing Arts.

Swetha has been recognized with both the Accomplished Performer Credential (APC) and the Bharatanatyam Conservatory Credential (BCC), representing achievements in sustained student development and advanced classical dance education.

Recognizing the Journey

The Accomplished Performer Credential (APC) recognizes continued growth across three developmental domains aligned with the UNESCO Framework for Culture and Arts Education. Its multi-year pathway emphasizes character, teamwork, poise, grit, and peer leadership, reflecting the broader personal development that performing arts training can foster.

The Bharatanatyam Conservatory Credential (BCC) represents an advanced stage of recognition following the APC prerequisite. It focuses on technical mastery and classical repertoire in Bharatanatyam, honoring the dedication needed to pursue greater depth in this traditional art form.

Together, these credentials celebrate the relationship between consistent effort, artistic exploration, and personal growth.

Congratulations to Swetha Ragupathi on this dual recognition, and to Shishya School of Performing Arts for continuing to foster a meaningful environment for classical dance education.
